The Remember Me Foundatin
The purpose of the foundation is to provide children who are victims of child abuse permanent memorials on their final resting place. The majority of children who are murdered by abuse are often forgotten about, the families of the children are the one responsible, so once they die, it is not a priority to get them a headstone they so rightly deserve, the members of the public so often are not even made aware of the case. We are currently looking at case for a little girl in the UK, who in the 18 months prior to her death received 53 visits from police and the social services, missed 40 hospital appointments! The official line from the DHS and police for not rescuing her was, 'We were frightened of her parents!' So fully grown adults were terrified, imagine being a two year old! Her parents/killer were sentenced and it is believed they are already released! However, it is children like this we want to remember, we know that her family will not bother with a headstone, they want to sweep it under the carpet and let it go, but we will not.
We recently contacted the family of Phoenix Sinclair, a little girl from Canada, she was murdered by her mother and step father, no one noticed she was dead for nine months! They declined a headstone and stated that they did not want to draw attention to her! This is a travesty, no one should go forgotten and that fact that families want this is despicable.

Research and Development
As you can imagine we spend an enormous amount of time researching for children who go forgotten, these children who are not remembered with a permanent memorial are generally not found online, there is little media coverage on these children, this is how they have been forgotten, people do not know their stories. We are always looking for people to help us undertake research, by finding children who are resting in an marked place.
Marketing and Word of Mouth
The best form of advertising is word of mouth, we would like to keep costs to a minimum in order to be able to help more children. Marketing can be a very costly avenue, therefore we are looking for people who can help tell people about the Foundation, people who maybe have a blog, or a news column or even a television show. Helping in this respect ensures that the donations of monetary value go directly into each project. We look for people who will contact people and tell them about the 'The Remember Me Foundation,' whether it be friends, family, media stations or celebrities who would be interested.
Donations of Services and Goods
Running a Foundation can be costly, therefore instead of donating financially people may want to donate a service the foundation will require. Such as administrative (Stationary, Marketing, Advertising, Legal advice), promotional (Wristbands, Key rings, Pen's) Fundraising aid (Premises to hold them, Catering, Entertainment) and Commemorative items (Memorial plaques, Engraving services) Another service which you may be able to help with, it the arrangement of fake flowers, just a small bouquet which can be placed on each resting place.
Donations of a Monetary Value
After all being said and done, none of this could happen if we cannot raise the funds to purchase the memorial plaques and headstones, we do rely on the generosity of the public to help. Holding Fundraising Events
One of the best ways to raise awareness of any Foundation and to raise funds at the same time is by holding fundraising events. They could come in the form sponsored events or entertainment days. If you would like to hold an event in your area on behalf the 'The Remember Me Foundation' or get involved in a current event which is scheduled to be held please do contact us.
The story of Brianna, as you well know is a vile case, and had it not been for the actions of her killers post killing that Brianna's story would have gone forgotten,but the fact that they locked her in a cage bought out the rage in thousands of people, worldwide! The idea of the bench was once thought of after someone contacted us and ask how we could get rid of the cage, we can't provide Brianna with a headstone, but this was next best thing. It belongs to the public, not the killers, they have no control or say over it and that is very satisfying.
